My move to Bentonville, Arkansas began in Ohio when I joined Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in the summer of 1990. Little did I know that my employment decision would lead me and my family all over the US and eventually land us in Northwest Arkansas in 1999. My wife and I continued our careers with Wal-Mart until 2009 at which point we both were faced with a choice: either move to Chicago, Manhattan or find another job.
We had grown to love NW Arkansas and found it very easy to raise our children here and really did not want to leave but also had to make the right choice to provide for our family. We knew that the choices given were not the right ones. After receiving and accepting job offers in Dallas we were off to our next adventure and our fourth relocation. Two plus years pass and my wife received another (fantastic) offer to return to Bentonville-so now we are off to our fifth relocation. As she began her new career as a supplier, I began my new career in Real Estate.
In 2014, after two successful years, I returned to real estate school to advance my position and title to Broker level. I spent the next four years serving as an Executive Broker for Berkshire Hathaway. After a great career with Wal-Mart, (where I gained experience in multi unit operations and Human Resources) and a successful six years selling real estate in Northwest Arkansas, it was finally time to progress to the next level: to be the Principal Broker of my own real estate office.
I am proud to say that on May 18th, 2018 TABOR Real Estate was opened for business. My mission is simple "To provide outstanding real estate services with integrity and dedication". I have applied my work ethic, skills, training, and experience to a career that I enjoy and to one that I give my all.

Nick is very lucky to be married to a beautiful woman for 16+ years and a father of two very special kids and soon to a 3rd through the foster/adoption process. He moved around a lot while growing up- and is no stranger to that process! After graduating high school he moved up to Northwest Arkansas for college. He met his beautiful bride and was excited for life's new adventure in NWA.
With over 20 years of sales experience, Nick Ashford has dedicated himself to be a different "type" of salesman. Relationships, dependability, character, integrity as well as an honest approach has led him to countless business acquaintances turned friends. From selling cell phones to selling and managing in the car industry, Nick has always had a desire to help people go through the process easily.
Sales isn't just a career path for Nick but also a strong sense of pride in servitude toward the community. Being able to help wherever needed has always been his calling. From helping with 5th & 6th graders at church to lending a hand at his wife's local business, Nick is always someone that can be counted on. She and her husband grew up in the area and raised their own family here as well. Don Arrick and wife (Denise) moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2001 as Don started a new role at the Walmart Home Office. Since then, the dramatic growth of the area has convinced them that it is one of the best places to live in the United States.
